So i have a 2001 camaro ss stock pretty much and i just bought a cam valve spring and push-rods and i just swapped the valve spring and i noticed some grind mark on the inside of the heads. I have no knowledge to what has been done to this car before me. so should i check out the lifters to see what kind of shape they are in or is this normal. I have worked on heads before but never ls1 till now and info would help thanks

Oh and there is no marks on the rockers at all some are worn more then others number 8 has very little ware on the head and number 6 has the most ware
