608/634 to the ground with the small valve stage 2 LS6 243 heads cc ported.

 

I just purchased a set of patriot heads with a cam, they looked decent but it took them forever to come, like 8 weeks, i later found out it was becuase they got a bad batch of castings and tried to fix them which ended up not working. this could be part of the casting problem you have read about, i didnt find out for sure what exactly was wrong with the castings. the set i finally got were pretty decent, good price, but i had a spark plug hole that was screwed up that i had to get retapped. other than that they were a good buy, just got my motor together lastnight so i dont ahve any good numbers yet.

 

Patriot LS6 Stage II are very close in price and flow to a TSP 5.3 Stage 2.5. Would the 10ish cfm for the TSP have much effect on power? The Patriots can be had in 59cc chambers or 64cc, so compression can be had with either.

 

I do not care whose heads you look at their flow numbers are going to be inflated some...

Patriot products are very good, and minded towards the guy that has a budget
