Cant speak for a4 cars but I had the torquer 2 in an m6 TA and loved it. I daily drove the car as long as it wasnt raining, put 14,000 miles on it in less than a year and did nothing but change the plugs and drive the **** out of it. Car made 388rwhp with stock heads, LT's, ls6 intake and a ported TB. People think im crazy but that car was more fun to drive than my procharged TA that makes 100 more rwhp because the power came on so strong. Thats just my .02, hope it helps.
