Default ms3 or Toquer V2??

Hi friends... Im from Mexico.. Actually I have a 98 A4(tranny) camaro my mods are: 373 gears, 285 nitto drags, 222/224 comp cam, valve springs, 3000 stall, true duals and headers..
Recently I get a 243 ported heads(not installed), I was wondering to change cam for a bigger one. Ive reading a lot about it, but Im still confused. My car is not daily drive right now, but I like city drive. So, Im gonna ported heads but in the same operation a new cam which one do u recommend me?
Ive read that MS3 will need a higher stall torquer not?
or will be better my actual cam with the ported heads?
thansk a lot..!!

I would go with this cam 231 237 .617 .607 112 your current stall should work fine. this cam with 243s should put you over 415 at the wheels and great power. good luck.

Ms3 is a great camshaft for what your trying to achieve it sounds like. Both cams are great.

MS3 will need more stall IMO even though you have a gear. I am just not a big fan of the MS3/4 on a streetcar...

Ponle la MS3 y no te arrepentiras! Pero tendras que ponerle una turbina mas grande como 3600. Es lo que yo tengo y lo manejo en la ciudad!

Why do people say this?

I would say the V2. You will make just as much power and be a little more streetable. But both will need a good tune. Are you running the stock intake? That will be a restriction with these cams and those heads. Don't get caught on numbers only(dyno).

Si los resortes ya tienen capacidad de levante .650 estarian bien entonces! La gente de www.texas-speed.com son muy amigables te pueden contestar tus preguntas cuando les hables.

Also if you still have a stock fuel pump and stock oil pump and do decide to go with the MS3, I would recommend upgrading as well. A LS6 ported oil pump and Walbro 255 hi flow fuel pump would be perfect. Oh and then come bigger injectors as well! That's how this works my friend! Quite an expensive hobby we have chosen! How many miles does your car have?

Good suggestion..... My 233/239 is being installed next week. I am moving up from the cam in my signature. I hope to see a fair gain in power.

I would only run duals with an MS3. I realize the lift is low 600's but the lobes are so fast off the seat you really need a strong spring to control it.

drive-ability is. Big cams arent the best for street cars. thats why stock cams are tiny
Stock cams are small due to EPA regulations and gas mileage needs. Of course they aren't the same grind they are two different cams. The majority's opinion is stick the biggest cam you can find in and you will make more power. Since I don't agree with that i guess i am wrong. But cam for cam V2's are making just as much power as MS3's.

one cam will make more hp than another period! TSP's website, says ms3 makes more hp

[QUOTE=MUSTANGBRKR02;13038891]Why do people say this? QUOTE]
well i guess alot of people think the same way

thanks for clearing up what stock cams are for. lol
didnt know i needed to explain that, i just make short points (to much to type)

also if what u say, "cam for cam is making same hp" why not go with ms3?? whats the difference according to u?
