Default big heads and cam. need to go forged?

Im in the process of piecing together ms3 cam, fast 102/102, and afr 225 heads.
Would i need to go with forged internals to handle the power?

P.S. I also plan on spraying it if i cant get into the 10s with the setup above.

Thanks for the input

Just a couple of questions

What type of engine are you talking about.
How much compression are you going to run
What type of N2O shot are you planning on using.
Is this a H/C only or a complete build (engine out).
How much HP do you think you will be making.
Is this a daily driver and if so how many miles on the engine if its not an engine out rebuild.

Just some info you might want to give if you want some help.

Stock ls1. 11:1 cr. Direct port wet shot. H/c only. 5-600hp on motor. DD with 80k miles.

Are you trying to get 500 rwhp? and still be a dd ?
m6 or a4?

If you are dead set on a afr casting i would go with a set of 205's a cam in the low 230s and the fast..This way you would have good power to have fun while daily drivin and less wear and tear on the valvetrain..And when you hit the track or get an itch use the spray..on motor you would probably be around 430(+/-)rwhp if m6..good luck with your build..

just my .02

If you are going direct port injection nitrous because you are doing more than a 250 shot yes I would forge it. Regardless of daily driver or not.

I would, its a lot better to build it right the FIRST time.

It will save many headaches down the road.
