I kinda want to have a really nice idle and dont want to have any drivability issues. I'll need a cam that can work with me on this and still produce good power. Any suggestions?

nice idle and drivability while making big power is really big cube territory. nothing like cubes to "eat up" that big cam.

I agree 1000% as my 244/244, .612 lift on a 112 lsa is not too radicaql and quite streetable (at least for me but i'm pretty hardcore) on my 98 A4 c5 with its 427 Motor!!!

I've gotten some quotes and it will be hard to justify getting a 346 when for a grand more I can get a stroker bottom end. I think I am gonna do stroker.

what do you guys think about this?

If I let the shop install and tune my motor I can get a 1 yr warranty on the stroker if I do it myself it will only be 90days.

If it is installed by a shop I will also have to ship my car on top of the labor charged for the install.

Is it better to save the 1.5k on car shipping/install or is it better to get it tuned with a 1 yr warranty from the installer and pay the extra cash?

I think you're going to want to put bigger valves in your heads depending on what size you currently have to maximize the new combo if you go stroker.

no need for bigger valves if you have 2.02 intake pieces already in there with a stock bore.

haha believe it or not man I am actually thinking about doing it myself, It is mainly the tuning that I am worried about and if I can somehow limp it to futral I
might try to install it myself and drive there for a tune,, + you will be needing a ride anyways.

hmm and ecotech motor huh Jay,, that would be one hell of a hybrid

Imaging pulling up with dual 3 inch exhaust and an ectotech lol!!! that would be hilarious.

So that means, next week Vince will be driving up there, and you can follow him up... let Futral do the 427 you've been wanting...My new motto (for the time being anways) "Do It Right, Once"
