Where will the car spend most of it's time? Street I'd go C2 or a similar 224 XE-R on a 113 or 114 LSA.

From just listening to you.. i would recommend the C2.
Your motor will live a long kick *** life.
I have run a lot of 10.6's with that cam (and heads). It is a runner.
Is there more to be had? sure, but everything has a comprimise.
RPM problems, tuning probs, gas mileage, rattles and shakes, did i mention tuning probs.
The C2 is a fine cam for killer street performance and awesome track times. All with out spinning your ride up to 6800 and beyond.(it will not live long past 6800)
Having your car sitting in the driveway with bricks behind the wheels because the motor is shot and you cannot afford another one sucks ***.

When choosing cams go smaller than you think you will need. Better to err on the side of caution than to be riding bitch on saturday night in your buds car because yours is broken.

But seriously, if you just have to go bigger than the C2, consider the X1. It is as big as your stock bottom end will need or handle.
Everyone has an opinion, it's up to you to seperate the BS from the truth.

But to reiterate, i would recommend the C2 to you.

but you must keep in mind all cars are different. just because John sees great results in his 3000# racecar doesnt mean you will see the exact same. also you may want to look at many options as i already stated. If you like the specs of the C2 there are many other sponsors out there that have proven with their setups too like Thunder Racing w/their TR224 cam. Just something to think about.
