Default LQ9 Reverse Split?

I have a mostly stock LQ9 and I like the characteristics of a reverse split cam; I would like to try one but I'm no cam guru. Has anyone run a reverse split in an LQ9 or another truck engine? If so how were the results?

My engine upgrades:
Comp 918 springs'
7.4" hardened pushrods
LS2 connecting rods & timing chain
1-3/4" LTs with high flow cats and mufflers. X pipe

Wow that is one pretty dyno run. Thanks for pointing me to that thread. I think I'll look for something similar to what he has

You're going to need to ditch the cats if you want to run a RS cam. RS cams need as free flow an exhaust as possible to shine to their potential.

Hmm, interesting. So a reverse split might not be the best choice for a mainly street cam?
