6.0 cam selaction ?
6.0 cam selaction ? Have a 6.0 with 2.5 5.3 heads full bolton's want to find a cam for it want to make alot of torque and midrange thinking ms3 anyone feel free to chim in if you have input or experience
If you are looking for lots of tq I would research some reverse splits. Some of these big duration cams will not give the desired tq people are looking for, although they have a higher rwhp in most cases.
What kind of stall are you running? MS3 would require a pretty healty converter with an A4 for best results. At that point, you have a car that gets poor mileage and poor drivability around town, and basically only does one thing well.
Stick to a low 220's cam with a tight LSA and you will get what you are after. If you are looking at a stock or > 2800 stall converter, spread the LSA a bit to make it livable.
220/220 110+0 = 40* IVC and 0* overlap at .050" lift
220/220 113+3 = 40* IVC and -6* overlap at .050" lift
224/224 110+0 = 42* IVC and 4* overlap at .050" lift
224/224 114+3 = 43* IVC and -4* overlap at .050" lift
