Would this pose an issue to grind down?
Would this pose an issue to grind down? If I grind down the the little ridge on my new 243s on the valve cover bolt holes?

The spring compressor tool i am currently using is owning my hands, and is taking entirely too long. I had borrowed the Crane spring tool from a friend, but because of that ridge on the bolt holes, it won't sit right. I am just talking about grinding down enough so the tool sits flush again.
