Futral FM4/114 cam users inside
Futral FM4/114 cam users inside I love my TR230/224 but I'm thinking about going with a cam that has a better idle. I'm considering a Futral FM4, 226/226/575/114. What kind of power have you made with this cam, and more importantly, what kind of ET's. I want to stay with the 114 for idle quality, and possible changes to my setup.

Hot restarts could be a bit better, dead cold ones too for that matter. Its a great cam that makes great power, I guess maybe I'm just getting old. Thanks for the reply Vince, thats what I wanted to hear. A stealthy idle is not a bad thing in my book.
If I can make the power and sound near stock............... what they don't know won't hurt them.

Its on a 113 LSA. She takes about 30-45 seconds or so to find idle (about 900 rpm) when she's been sitting for a good while. Warm starts arent too bad either.
With the cutout open - she lopes hard. With it closed and running through the stock muffler - she's pretty much a sleeper.
