Default Piston to valve clearance

Would a 240/246 639/632 cam possibly fit a stock LS1 without flycutting the pistons?

I know there's ways to get a close approximation (I don't know how to do it), but if it's even close I would recommend verifying it with clay since not all of these estimations are perfect.

considering stockers are flat tops, with that much lift, I would say no, but the only way to be sure is to measure

It's not all about the lift when determining PTV clearance...the duration has a large piece of that equation too.

Check it an tell us!! You 100% can not rely on anyone telling oyu the anser to this. Becuaseafter your motor kills itself, no one from the forum is cutting you a check for being wrong.

I know your guessing because max lift has nothing to do with PTV. The piston is a mile away from the valve at max lift.
