6.0l 71 chevelle. ok guys! bare with me here this is the only place i know to ask this,but i am building a 6.ol out of a 2002 silverado. i want between 450 to 500 hp,is this possible without stroking it? and i just bought those l92 heads.and also it will be carbed for now,is there a combo that will get me to my goal?some guys at work say the z06 set up but i want more,or am i pushing it?
First off you need compression. You're going to have to cut a mile off those heads with the lq4 pistons. Also there's a slew of threads about cam selection with the l92 heads. 500 ponies can be done but you have some work ahead of you unless you want to go boosted.

Ok,sounds like i need to do some more homework on this build.i want to get away from the gen 1 engines and get with the times and ls motors now.but thats why im here . So if anybody has any ideas about my build.let me know thanks.
