Due to the age of the heads TSP wouldn't warranty it but they were willing to give me a deal on a new pair. I plan to sell the car so I didn't want to run another $1000 into it.
I found a guy to grind out the crack and then build it back up again. Seems to me like he did a pretty good job. He did say the metal was very thin where it cracked. I think this is a known issue with older TSP heads.
I'll put it back together now and hope for the best. Should be good to go. I just thought some other folks with the same issue could maybe keep some hope that it might be fixable.
