Default Comp 987s and X1

Fixin to do TEA 1.5s and X1. I was reading a post on here about 987s and big cams. I think the 1.5s come with 987s so Im wondering about this and the Yella Terras with valve float. How long should the 987s hold up or should I upgrade now? I thought they good supposed to be good springs.

They are good springs, with my cam on my dyno they never floated to 7000 rpm. It sounds like the Yella Terra's have a weight problem (polar moment of inertia). Sounds like you need to run the stock rockers. You can upgrade to the 978's for $35.
