Default LS1 to LQ4? need details

OK...need some links to LS1 Trans Am to LQ Block. Hope to get a nice detailed view of how the swap went. Both are stock blocks and no forced induction add ons. Just the little things that i need to know about that goes along with any swap. Thanks a bunch!

I will give you a little wirteup:

I am not very good with grammer so fill in the blank.

The LS1 to LQ4 swap is very simple the onlything switched over is the intake manifold with fuelrails and such on it and if you want the flexplate, from what I remember that was the only thing I had to switch over there are plenty of write ups on here. With the LQ block my car sat noticeably lower. Thinking about it you also have to swap water pumps, if you buy a full long block. overall its the best choice for our cars if you want something that can last like a LS1 for a third of the price.

The only thing you'll use from the LQ4 is the long block. Intake, TB, injectors, sensors, pan, and all accessories *including the crank pulley* will come from the car.
The LQ4 water pump neck would get in the way of the car intake.

Using the right mix of parts, and insuring you're using a '01+ LQ4, it's a simple bolt in replacement.

I'll also add that it's much easier to drop the K-member and pull the engine than it is to wrangle it out of the top.
