ls1/ls6 block head bolts
IF you would like I could take a picture of both early and late for you, I have a set of both. Early has 4 short and 16 long not counting the little one at the top that didn't change between year. The 04 and up are all long you can look up head studs on any website and it will show you.
I know the early blocks required 2 short and 8 long bolts per bank, no argument there, but I know the later blocks required 10 short bolts, not long bolts. I've got two blocks of each design sitting in my garage with head bolts for each. I'd take the picture myself if I weren't out of town.

My 04 LS1 AND 05 5.3 AND my 04 6.0 says the internet is wrong. This 04 and up bullshit caused me to order the wrong headstuds this last go round. Dumb me shoulda known better then to trust the internet, i shoulda checked first.
