Yeah, post some pics. Take a long bolt, install it in a later '04 up block and snap a pic. Might as well even put a cylinder head on so we can see the gap when the bolt bottoms out.

I know the early blocks required 2 short and 8 long bolts per bank, no argument there, but I know the later blocks required 10 short bolts, not long bolts. I've got two blocks of each design sitting in my garage with head bolts for each. I'd take the picture myself if I weren't out of town.

My 04 LS1 AND 05 5.3 AND my 04 6.0 says the internet is wrong. This 04 and up bullshit caused me to order the wrong headstuds this last go round. Dumb me shoulda known better then to trust the internet, i shoulda checked first.
