Default How to take out crank pin?

I had a shop put in a crank pin to keep the ATI damper on...how do I get it out?

Isn't it just a metal pin pushed through the crank and the damper?

I haven't gotten the car torn down to see it yet, so just wondering if I need any tools and etc...

thanks

If they used the ATI pin kit, then simply remove three bolts that hold the damper to the hub and use the large steering wheel puller to remove the damper. Once off, the pin will come right out. I am not at home now but have several photo's of the installation and removal if you need them. Will be home early next week.

Yes please post some pictures if you would. I'm wanting to put a underdrive pulley on mine soon!

It should just fall out when the pulley comes off. You can remove the bolt and make sure the pin is facing up before using the puller. That way you don't lose it or have it drop who knows where.

Getting it perfectly lines up when reinstalling the pulley can be a PITA.
