milled 243s i have a set of milled .030 243s to put on my 5.3 w/a .040 headgasket. will my stock pushrods work or do they need to be .030 shorter?? btw i have a ls1 cam in it now(came w/motor, going to upgrade to a tr220 later).

I'm guessing you are going to need a shorter pushrod for that. Best option is the Comp PR checker. $20 tool will save you a lot of trouble later. Here's a link:
