Light indentions on pistons from valves
I recently tore down my motor due to a spun rod bearing. Well the previous cam I had in my motor was a Lingenfelter gt1 cam 560 560 218 229 on a 113. When I went to the machine shop to replace the rod that the bearing spun on the guy noticed light indentions in two places from where the valves are hitting. The guy asked what springs I was using. I told him the crane single spring and retainer kit. Well what we come up with is that since none of the valves on my cylinder heads where bent. That I was getting valve float really bad up top. But my real question is, will my new cam 564 587 225 233 on a 115 will it not hit the pistons with .005 shaved heads and new crane dual springs.
