What parts and work are needed to build a superstroker to handle 800rwhp?
Look to price differences between buying a forged shortblock for a superstroker or building it yourself.....has to hold up to 800-850 rwhp; going to take about a 200-250 shot. Minimum 422ci, but I wouldn't mind going to a 434ci motor with a little extra bore if it'll hold.
Obviously an MID block is needed, so that's what, $3000 to start off with? For a 200-250 shot, is anything more than a 4.125 bore too much? Should it get O-Ringed? The heads would be 6.0L TEA Massengale (sp?) series heads with the hand blend. Total cost on those and a cam is $3000.
Rotating Assembly- Is it safe to go the cheap route with Diamond Pistons and an Eagle Crank? With good rods/wrist pins/rings to handle the power how much are we talking here? $2500? $3500?
Bearings?- How much $$$? Clevites? Federal Mogul?
Mains?- ???
Oil pump upgrade??
Assembly?
Balancing??
Any help on parts and pricing to accomplish this feat would be appreciated. thanks!

4.125 bore X 4.00 stroke = 427 CI. I had looked at the CR5 block a while back, its expensive, but SDPC sells the block, crank, and heads for it all.

Probably looking around $12,000 or so. Don't forget the fuel system and tuning.
You will probably be around $1,000 for machine work and balancing
Ported Oil Pump $160
Timing Chain $90
New Lifters $ 200
Gaskets $50 or so depending on what you need
New High Flow Water Pump $$$
ARP Head Studs $200
Main Bolts $75
Main Bearings $50
Cam Bearings $25
It adds up fast...
