Scat I beams?
Scat I beams? Shooting for 650whp in a ls1, these rods any good? I searched but lots of threads with no answers.
Plan is 650whp at 6500rpm on a procharger using these rods with 7/16 bolts and diamond dished pistons. I know tune is a lot of it however I'm basicallly looking for the strength of these rods. I like to overbuild a lil but not crazy.
Stock rods with arp bolts people push in the 600's and they arnt even forged to my knowledge, so the 4340 I beam scars and arp bolts should naturally hold a good deal more right? So 650 shouldn't hurt um at all, in fact 700-750 is attainable. But I'm not asking that much so what ya all think? These a good choice expecially for the under 350 dollars price??
