Putting in 918 springs - how easy to change valve guide seals??
I plan on doing this with the heads on the car . . . a friend says that when my car is cold and I get on it a bit, blue smoke . . . which usually means valve guide seals, right? Can these be changed with heads on the car, or is it just too difficult? Thanks!

Very easy to do with the heads on the car:
remove springs
remove seals with needle nose pliers.
install new seals using a deep socket (I think a metric size 12 works well, but that's easy to figure out) Dunk them in oil first. You just push them on.
The exhaust and intake seals are different (different color). Just make sure you keep track of which is which.

i used the seals from thunder when i changed out my springs. they're all the same. like tatommy said, it's pretty easy. use plyers to take them off and then push the new ones on. i just pushed my new ones on by hand.
