what can i do to this 2003 6.0l bare block:
de-bur?
oil restrictors?
painting?
etc?

also, if anyone has a trick to get the main caps loose, itd be appreciated.

 

Deburr it, clean it, build it.

Don't do oil restrictors.

After you've removed the bolts (including the side bolts), you can usually just pull them out by hand, just wiggle from to rear. If not, use two long prybars at the ends of the caps.

 

got em out. used c-clamps under the notches and used a 1x1 on either side to pry strait up an out.
