I wouldn't consider myself a dyno queen either, but after seeing what I dyno'd and how it ran at the track I was really impressed. Raceweight of my car is roughly 3650. TEA stg. 2 5.7L heads milled .030, 12bolt 4.11's, Macs, all bolt ons except FTRA and a asp pulley. Best time at the track was a 12.0 @ 116 mph 1.78 60'. If I could have had another run in I might have been able to hit high 11's. DA was around +800 that day. 411/378

I dynoed the Camaro on Sept. 27th (best pull at about 10:30 pm, I don't have the dyno sheet on me) and the conditions were:
Temp: 70
Dewpoint: 53
Humidity: 51
Barometer: 30.12
Actual alt: 3000 ft
Density alt: 4358 ft

I dynoed the Trans Am on Dec. 13th (best pull at 10:10 pm) and the conditons were:
Temp: 40
Dewpoint: 11
Humidity: 31
Barometer: 30.06
Actual alt: 3000 ft
Density alt: 2323 ft

So, since the temps are under 77 and the barometer over 29.92 I should have higher STD numbers than SAE??

Could there be a problem with the way the dyno is being operated?

Any help would be great, i'm very curious about this..

Thanks, Chris

Chris I think that it would be true at sea level, but not at our elevation.
