In a pinch, you can always go to

http://www.archive.org

and enter the URL of where you want to go (www.ls1howto.com) in there, and look at the history of the pages. It does take some work to dig the archives, but there really is a lot of info in there. You do have to trick the archive.org server sometimes... play with it, it's worth it.

It's helpful if a web site goes down, and you *really* need something (been there, done that).

jmX probably got owned or something.

Hey guys.

The hard drive on the web host crashed on thursday at 5:45pm. My site, and about 20 other sites are all down right now (all the sites hosted on the machine). They've put a fresh drive in, and are going to restore from tape backups.

As for me backing stuff up, dont worry, I archive everything every month to a CD and store it in an offsite location (incase my home burns down) and the webhost place also backs up everything every night. The docs wont be going anywhere.

Hopefully everything will be back up by sunday...its all out of my control.

jmx - glad to hear it. The site has saved me many dollars with 2 cam and one head swap. Most informative site out there.
