Default need help guys on cam please!

ok guys came across a screaming good deal but the cam may be over kill for my setup. Im new to the whole ls1 and i recently moved in from the modular motored mustangs. anyways my buddy is willing to sell me his entire cam kit springs, retainers, pushrods, comp custom ground cam for 500 bucks all brand new never used. problem is the the lift to me sounds rediculous. Its a 227/236 640 intake 601 exhaust lift and 111 lsa. I really want just a fast street car i do like going to the drag strip but i love having a peppy street car i want 400-500 rwhp. i dont want to have a car that produces no tourque off the line. Mods so far are pacesetter longtubes, true dual x pipe, bullet turn downs, Ac delete, Smog delete, Slp lid, 125 shot of nitrous, i have a ls6 intake that i havnt bolted in yet. also it has the 853 heads which i think are 99-00 heads not quite sure. so basically i want a quick roll racing car i love hammering it meging on to interstates amd what not. anyways i know i would need a stall from around 3400-3600. what do you guys think im no expert on cams. thanks so much guys

Sounds like a LSK intake lobe. Unless you want to replace valve springs every 5-10,000 miles I would avoid that setup. 400 rwhp to 500 rwhp is a big difference, 500 rwhp naturally aspirated is not going to be cheap. 400 rwhp is easily doable with a decent sized cam and a M6 trans. I'd contact Geoff at EPS (engine power systems) and have him set you up with one his of endurance lobe profiles.
