How come my lifters on the driver side wont stay up when I spin the cam?? The passenger side stays up fine, the damn drivers side wont go into the retainer cups? Help? should I just go get the pen magnets? In the middle of the install now! its a 2000 z28

it amazes me people dont plan ahead :dunno:

but yes get the pen magnets or go to home depot and pick up some 1/4" aluminum rods about 24" long and use it as a make-shift JPR tool.

I already had the 1/4" rods. BUt the since the lifters wouldnt stay up I guess they are useless huh, thanks for the reply JRP


Cam went in fine though with pen magnets
