Default Casting #'s info please....(cylinder heads)

What is the casting # on the LQ9 6.0L Head. If Im not mistaken they should be labled on the passengers side cyl head.

Also is 243 the casting # on the LS6 Heads???

LS6 = 243 Casting # located on the lower right of the Passenger side , And to keep this simple as possible LQ9 6.0L Head is casting # 317 .

( A LQ9 Has D Shaped exhaustport and an LQ4 has an O exhaustport )

No no no...

LQ4 & LQ9 heads , both are the same...

LQ4 = dished pistons = 9.5 CR
LQ9 = flattop pistons = 10.1 CR

Same ports, same everything...

A truck that has the LQ9 engine may have [317] or [035] heads on it...

The heads found on an LQ4 and an LQ9 are identical. Both share the same intake and exhaust ports, as well as the combustion chamber shape/volume.
