Default Help me get 9.5 compression

I was looking into buying a used 370 shortblock with -2cc pistons. I know im gonna need 72cc heads, but what gaskets do I use to achieve 9.5 to 1 compression? I tried using an engine compression calc. but it looks like ill need a thick head gasket...

with the 317 heads you should be fairly close and if you use the mls gaskets you should be all there. i think the compressed thickness is like .060 on the mls.

Default Flatout gaskets

Check out these guys. You can get any thickness in the rubber coated copper and any bore. We have used these on twin turbo street cars no problems.

They have mls in 0.051", also the rubber coated copper are any bore so you can get them the recomended 0.020" larger than bore size and they are off the shelf in a 0.072" thickness.

It would be a 4.030 bore. Can you use a 4.060 gasket on a 4.030 bore?
