Got yourself a good kit bro. Should make the power you are looking for. Like Orangepeel said, kiss your clutch good bye. I'd suggest you upgrade the clutch b4 you dyno it. How shitty are you going to feel if/when the clutch fails on the dyno. Or worse yet, you successfully dyno it and then after a couple wot gear shifts your clutch takes a dump and now you need a tow. A tick Master cylinder is a great idea as well. Sorry for trying to spend your money for you bro, just trying to help.
Best of luck on the installs. Please post results when available. Vids too !!!!!

I need to know what kind of job you have so I can do the same thing LOL
I wish I had the cash for that setup lol.........definitely going to need a clutch with that setup. I have 15,000 miles on my LS6 clutch (old clutch toasted itself with the old owner) and I'm putting a new clutch in this weekend since I've done heads and cam on my car (34,000 miles on the car)

You can baby it for a lil while just driving, some get lucky. Stay on street tires and NO track/dig stuff and it MIGHT make it. But i really doubt it. Mine cam only made it off the dyno, one pass on the street, then started sticking to the floor and slipping it's *** off.
I would go ahead and do a clutch.

thanks,i was planning on looking into one but tsp is crazy, and alot of other places too, 600+ dollars for a clutch that can only handle 500wph, that mind bottling.
i`ve read about people getting the 300 dollar flywheel and clutch package from a zo6 (ls7 i think). hows that?
know of any other set up that can handle at least 500whp. ill be around 450-480 when done, then probably with a 150shot.
ps, sorry for hijackin, but figured this would be some good info for this guy to since hes upgrading haha

Better get a monster lvl 3 for that ur clutch is already gone. It just dont know it yet lol. Also start saving for a rear.....drag radials+ 5k rpm clutch dump = boom. Ask me how i know. My accident was with the monster clutch and stock power on drag radials too lol.

right out of the box. The benefit with running these heads is they are cheaper because they don't do any port work to them. They are cast with ports that are shaped like ported heads. I hope they are right. They were about 600 to 800 dollars cheaper than the ported ones. I will see what I get when we tune it.

i disagree with the monster route, if you are gonna do any street driving you will hate this clutch. i had 2 monsters fail on me and my brother had his not disengaging all the way. i would go with an LS7 clutch. right now i have an LS7 clutch and drop it @ 5000 at the track, no slip, and drives home nice and quiet. also about half the price.

It you make any power, a LS7 clutch won't last long at all driving like that. My car is a street car, Level 6 and i love it. I had one of the bad discs, and one of the bad PP batches. Steve has taken good care of me, excellent customer service. I have beat the hell outta this current clutch. Numerous track passes...and all in the low 1.5x or better. Powershifted @7k.
