vavle seals on 243 heads
I bought a Lunati valvetrain kit with new retainers, springs, seals and seats.
The 243's have the one-piece seals, and they do look a little different from intake to exhaust. It's more in the design of the base of the seal/seat, where the shoulder of the retainer is a little taller than the other. The size of the hole looks the same.
My Lunati viton seals all look to be the same size and color. Has anyone run into this before? Is it OK to just use all of the same size seat and seal? Or is there something I'm missing with the original 2-size valve seal design? The Lunati seats/seals are 2-piece design, but from what I understand, you just oil up the seats and tap on the seals.
Thanks

Install the seats first and make any checks with spring height that are required before installing the seal. Tap on the seal gently with a sock or installation tool. You will be able to tell by the sound when the seal is bottomed.
Are the new springs beehive springs?
