Default Head Question

I have a set of 853's and a Set of 317's my question is which would be better planning on porting polishing them and incase of the 317's mill them to keep commpresion

mill and pp the 317's. talk to a good lsx engine builder to throw you together a good combo of pr's, springs, gaskets, cam etc.

I would sell the 317's and mill and port the 853's. They will basically flow what a ported 243 does at that point.

i thought 317's were very similar to 243's, just bigger chambers.

could be wrong, i've never seen the two side by side.

BUT, the CNC program will pretty much make it the same head minus the CC volume.
