timing set??

Default timing set??

starting to piece together parts for my 6.0 build. what is the best performance timing set and oil pump to use?

yup yup. i have an ls2 single roller. i went with a melling pump. but i had a little money to blow so i said **** it...

Its barely a difference in price if you shop around for a melling or a blueprinted LS6. I think I found a melling for my old Z28 for about 16$ more than a LS6.

depending on the temp i can peg my oil pres guage with my melling. haha YAY OIL PRESSURE!

i'de say it's worth the extra little bit. but i may be biased.

Yup Oil pressure sits at 60 when cold. 50 when warm and 50-60 driving at normal rpm.

question for those who may know. i just ordered a ls2 timing set for my motor but was wondering if there will b any excess slack in the chain cuz i had my block line honed to use ARP main studs?

every ls2 timing set I have seen had lots of slack.
