idk i'm a little skeptical, it kind of reminds me of what ricers use for their air intake that sticks out of the front bumper

No way man. It's gonna reduce the size of the throttle body.

I don't see how it could be better than a ported tb that smooths and enlargens the tb opening...looks like a gimick of "tornado" proportions

I have used velocity stacks on carbureted motorcycles, but the theory in that application has to do with increasing the speed of the air flow into the engine. Placing a velocity upstream of plenum chamber, like an LS intake manifold, makes no sense to me.

how would that even fit on a stock or aftermarket bellow? plus it would seem like a big hassle to make the plumbing fit on it.

in essence, it would be ram air for the TB and i can see how it would work by creating a venturi effect, but practically, it seems worthless.

Believe it or not it will help low end throttle response, top end probably gonna be about the same. The reason it wll help a little at low throttle openings is because it will have the effect of speeding up the air flow. I know it sounds like bs but i've been involved with flow testing. Its the reason a smaller exhaust pipe gives more bottom end. It moves faster so in effect it speeds everything up.
