Default Connecting rods??

hey guys im building a forged 6.0 block,
i wanted to keep the stock bore, but we had to hone it to a 4.005
so im ordering the wiseco k398x05
keeping the stock crank of 3.622

i wanted to know what other options i have in connecting rods, i was looking at the wiseco, but damm another 700 on rods is a little to much..

are the scat rods realiable??
and does the 100$ difference on bolts make a world of a difference from arp 2000 alloy to 8740 chromemoly

I'd go with the Callies Compstar 6.125" H-beam rods. They are rated for up to 900hp (although we've pushed them well over 1000rwhp) and are priced evry reasonably at $540.

I run the scat I-beams in my 370ci. Sees 7200rpm and 650-700rwhp on the jug with no problems so far.....

Not with the stock crank. You would need a 4" crank to make those rods work.

Yes, the pistons you posted are setup for a 6.125" rod.

That is very incorrect.

im gonna have to double check those part numbers then..
i taught i had gotten the ones for stock crank..

i had made a list of the wiseco pistons and rods and it was totalling to 1400$
and on the texasspeed site u got the 402 assemblies for 1600-1700..
which got me thinking, thats why im trying to save on rods..
