oil burning????

my car 00 trans am 168000 miles leaked when i bought it till i got my rear main seal fixed.. all is great till low oil pops up so fill it back up a month goes by and its low oil again is it burning can my car burn this much oil so fast i dont see any white smoke i use royal purple oil???

Might be pulling oil into intake manifold thru PCV plumbing.

Don't let the oil get so low that Low Oil comes on.

if you are burning oil it would be blueish,check your plugs.get a catch can or a new pcv valve,do a leak down test.your valve seals could be leaking or you rings not sealing.check your coolant color.
