Make sure you have a way to retain the lifters while you pull the cam, and a good spring compressor.

Does the spring kit come with valve seals? With that kind of mileage, it would definitely be a good idea to replace them since the springs will be out anyway.

Thanks. I've got the Cam install tools and a double valve spring compressor.

I will definitely look into new seals, thanks for reminding me

Reread the original post. Youll need a new crank bolt (i went with ARP, but new stocker is good) and a balancer install tool is HIGHLY recommended.

Heat the pulley (i did mine in boiling water) and apply some anti-seize to the crank snout, and make sure its nice and straight before driving it on.

Thanks, I forgot to list that I have both a new crank bolt and an extended one for pulley installation.

Thanks for the advice to heat it up, I will do that!

I would highly recommend poly mounts. I have the LPP TDs and they come too close to the floor board to use regular rubber mounts. I am talking less than an inch of clearance. With the Polys they don't hit at all.

Pardon my naivete but when you say Poly mounts, are you referring to motor, tranny, torque arm, or all of the above?
