Normal Oil Comsumption after Cam?

How much oil are you guys using after cam installs. Mine didn't like Royal Purple and I now run Redline 10-30. It still uses some and I wanted to make sure this is normal. Around .75 qt in 1500 miles with some pretty tough driving (Playing with new found power) is were I'm at right now. How are your LS1's doing?

I put in 6 quarts when I did my cam swap, hasn't gone down at all that I can tell after 400 miles. I put in Mobil 1 10w-30.

Mine uses a little oil after the cam swap. But only when I run it hard, under normal driving it is ok. I am using a no synthetic Quaker State and it still uses.

I did not noticed any difference in oil consumption after cam install.

I'm still on "full" when I change my mobil 1 5w-30 at 3,000 miles. Mine has never used any oil.

No added consumption after my cam installs. My LS1 has never burned oil from day one. Just got luckey I guess. I am running Schaeffer 10W-30 PAO Blend.

Mine didn't use a drop until the cam. It doesn't smoke on start up so i don't think I hurt the valve seals during the spring install. I used the compressor with about 100-120 psi, but don't think that would hurt anything. Tonight will install the new style PCV valve (from the trucks) and will see how that goes.
