Its ironic, talking about not liking the people who actually your engine is based out of. Better yet why ask the people you might not like so much to tell you about your engine...oh because no one else has the know how or the expertise...better yet let me help you out.

Your cam is mild at best and while you have some really good additions your car might see 320-350 rwhp. Also what type of heads are you running and what is the compression ratio. With 98 octane you can mill your heads and run 59CC chambers with an 11.5:1 compression with no issues and bump your hp output. Other than that I would add a power adder like nitrous oxide to bump ur out put and its a cheap way to do so.

How about this NEWBIE!! I am probably older than you are. There are 1000 of these guess my power threads and each and everyone of them is useless! You name a number and SOB will just disagree with you in the end anyway! Who gives a **** how much power you are making? Do the mods and take the damn thing to the track and post up the results! If this was a technical question about his car then I wouldn't have screwed with him the way I did. Grow up people and try to let something’s role off your shoulder sometimes. The fact that he was even asking this question makes me think he is a riced out aussie with a high school girls car! Probably has a damn fart can hanging out the back of his car to!

Does he have after market rod bolts are something? Do you think his stock rod bolts will handle that high of compression. Maybe get some ARP or Katech rod bolts so you can really unleash the power.

Wait a minute! Why am I helping you again?

I'm fairly certain that is neither a new trend, nor limited to the US. Youth is a temporary condition, fortunately!

I say why worry about rod bolts for the OP and OP only you should do what ever you want specially if its a 97 to 2001 engine I would spin that bitch to 6800 rpms no prob.

Get some 243s or 799 if its in the budget if not get a good CNC job on them along with a port & polish and again mill the deck, also I was being a smart *** if your engine is 2001 or older you are going to need to upgrade the rod bolts if its a 2002 or older you should be fine i spin mine 6800 rpm on a stock bottom end LS1 w/ 100K miles on her and a 150 shot.

So they are the 241 cast heads then right? Check the casting # on the side of the heads to be sure.

You should be able to hit the 400 mark with the standard 241's if your set up is done correctly and your TUNE is key to achieving your marks, but wiith the cam you are running you might fall a little short specially if its an A4 don't be disappointed if you don't hit the mark of 400 now w/ an M6 you might get closer but your cam is very mild i mean very mild. I would seriously reconsider if you haven't bought the cam yet and do a 224 or a 228 series cam. Those cams will definitely get you in the range your looking with an M6

But again don't chase numbers we all do it until we realize performance comes from a well studied and research engine set up numbers will be your byproduct

Hey bro, nice car.
Don't worry about dyno numbers, just haven't tuned by a experienced tuner. After you get it back, post up. And don't hate America, we'll kick your ***.
