Crank won't turn over when installing TC.
Crank won't turn over when installing TC. How hard should it be to turn the crank to install the torque convertor... I used a 1/2 inch breaker bar and a good amount of force and it still wont turn
Did you do anything else other than shut the car off, lift it up, and remove the transmission? Are you positive that the new torque converter is installed properly in the transmission and thus not putting forward pressure on the crankshaft and binding something? Did the trans go back up to the engine easily? Did the bellhousing come up flush to the block without too much fuss other than getting it onto the dowel pins?
