Default Found my radiator reservoir cap un-screwed

I popped the hood today and saw some standing water on my battery. On further inspection, I realized it was coolant and that the cap for my radiator was not tight. This has been this way at least for the past weekend where I drove the car ~500 miles. I never saw a rise in coolant temp, and there's still a large visible level in the radiator. Should I just go buy some Dexcool and fill the radiator back up or is there more to be worried about?

Car is a 2001 WS6 with 40k miles.

**EDIT**
To clarify from the title, this was the radiator cap, not the radiator reservoir cap. I don't know why I wrote reservoir.

It won't hurt anything. Tighten it back up and hit the road!

Thanks for the quick responses, I was worried that introducing air into the system would be a big problem.
