yella Terrras I have a 99 WS6 TA and am putting on a set of kooks 1 3/4 headers catted y pipe and plan on leaving stock heads alone. Plan on leaving the stock gear in back alone as well. I'll either put on a ls6 or lsx intake and pretty sure I want a TR224/224 on 112lsa cam but hear it soundsa like a sewing machine. Reading some old treads some stated that putting on a set of yella terra rocker arms quiets it down. Has anybody bought the yella terras for this reason if so how did it work out was it worth the money. Also maybe there is another cam with the same characteristics but without the singer sound please give me some help and does this combo sound matched or not?

I'm running the YTs with an XER 226/230 110 and it still sounds somewhat like a sewing machine...I believe it's just the nature of the beast. However, I don't have any experience with other rockers, so I can't tell you if it's less pronounced with the YTs...

I've got a TR224 with the Yella Terra's, and there is so little valvetrain noise that you have to concentrate to pick it out, and that's only under certain conditions.
