crank cost about how much does a stock crank for a 2000 ls1 cost? or where is the best place to get one? getting my motor rebuilt and they are going to need to weld one journal and is expected to cost about 500 bucks. didnt know if i could get a new stock replacement for about the same. id rather go new then worry about the weld being crappy and chucks falling off

Re Just bought a fresh 10/10 2116 Corvette crank kit with Clevite rod and main bearings in the kit for $350.00. Standard Crankshaft in NC. Prices included shipping 25.00 and core charge of 45.00. Local Napa Stores and some Autozones etc. get them from Standard too. Correct crank with gun drilled mains. Clevite bearings go for over 100.00 a set alone. Included in kit.
