1 question, why does the pulley have to be machined because you have a double roller??? Doesn't make sense.

The ASP crank pulley has to be machined for it to fully seat on the crank on the C5's when using a double-roller timing set. This is not the case on the f-bodies, though.

11:1 on 91 octane doesn't help your cause. 93 octane (if available) would make tuning easier.

Did you consider a reverse split like a 238/232 114 or 238/234 114? That would keep the exhaust duration down and probably have good manners with a few more ponies.

nice numbers. my 383 stroker has a 236/232 and I'm at 473/463 with ALL the bolt on's and 1 3/4 dynatechs through duals. I would guess you'd be about the exact same.

nice #'s grats on the setup.
There is alot to be said about a streetable setup. Alot of people will give you more respect if your car is fast and streetable (including women )rather than if it is just fast.

I have a heavy ATI super dampner..... doh! just run it Don, numbers are cool, but it don't mean everything, if I really wanted to, I could switch to a stock rear end, driveshaft, single disc clutch and stock wheels and probably lay down 40 more rwhp.

I am thinking about stroking my Vette and having them do it. I was also wandering why the timing was so low. I would like to see it at 29 or 30 to see what difference that would make. Joseph, Jason and Trevor and all of them are really good guys, and will work long and hard. They stayed up long hours with me a couple of times.

I had to do this also, on my engine, a LS6 block. Some do, some dont. It's smart that you checked & found this out, as my engine wouldn't even turn with the unmodified pulley on there. Good thing I didn't fire it up.

Great #'s. I run a similar cam, 232-236 112, & pulled 420 through slicks, 12 bolt, nitrous driveshaft, 400TH, all the bolt ons & 1 3/4" Grotts.

Let us know how it turns out with the FAST intake & 90 mm TB.

Black Sunshine - You're the first f-body I've heard of that needed to have the pulley machined. Any of the f-bodies that we've done here at the shop have been just fine, including mine. It's certainly always good to check!
