Damn I might just buy stock 243 and do a valve job and a mild port to them. I did that to the 241 and it performed good

call VaSpeed or give Ed a call himself, those guys know what they are talking about and can help you get your horsepower. If the combo aint right, it will never reach your goals or do what you want. Plus youll want someone who knows how to tune these real good to get every last pony out.
that is a monster cam! 242/248 .621"/.615" I think

I don't think I would want to drive that on the street

Its not that big on the duration side. You are fairly close on the lift though. I wont let the cat out of the bag on the cam, but it does have 14° of overlap.

LOL, I ran my 244/248 cam almost that long on some 918's. They also had about 4 other cams wearing them out prior to that big one. Were looking at 45k total on 918's with 5 cams. I can say this now since the HOSS has been sold atleast 1 other time since I sold it. CHANGE THE SPRINGS IF YOU OWN THAT CAR CURRENTLY!

I drive it everyday on the street lol. No real issues...once I get a better exhaust and retune with more time street tuning for driveability, it should be even better.

I have PAC 921 springs, and maybe 30k miles on my set up...not issues yet. Should probably call Ed up and see when he recomends changing them out though...
