Default LS1 solid roller lifters

Is anyone running the Morel 5425 pro series solid roller lifters. If so does anyone know who has them in stock?

You might try Thunder Racing - they carry a fair number of Morel Lifter types.

Which lifters are these? What are the features? I sell Morels but can't remember all the part numbers.

They have made some lifters that do not work in regular LSx blocks so watch out.

The lifters are supposed to be the stock .842 diameter with the hippo option with the link bar. They call them Morel pro series lifters. Bullet cams and Doug Herbert both gave me the same part number. I have a set on order through Bullet cams but they said they have no idea when they would be in.

OK have not seen this one in person but I would make sure it works before buying it. Several of the ones they were selling do not work in a regular block just to let you know.

How would I know if they are right? Is it the location of the oil holes? Also if they don't work what are other options? Crower or Isky

Yes on some of the ones they were making the oil holes were straight through and intersected the oil galleys.

You are correct. Bullet cams called Morel late friday for me to find out the difference between a sbc gen 1 lifter and ls lifter. The ls lifters are drilled half way through the oil band and the gen 1 are straight through.

Just make sure you are getting one of the new imnproved ones and you should be fine. I spent 3 years asking them to redo those but there's a lot still out there made wrong.

Bullet cams said they would be in next week. I will let you know if they are correct.

Just received them today and they are drilled correctly. I can't believe they are $50.00 to a $150.00 cheaper then the Isky's and Crower's depending on where you get them. I'm happy

That sounds good but there are still some old ones that are wrong out there but those should work well for you.

The box says they were packaged on 7-14-10 so at least I know they are a recent batch. This is my first LS motor and it hasn't been fun picking out parts. I just can't wait to dyno this thing. I'm hoping 800 plus NA.
