Default Ls6 with g5x-3 or x-2 cam at 114

Hey guys..
I saw that LG worked car with the g5x-3. It was that black z06 which made something like 427rwhp. If i went with some comp 921 springs (or anything else you guys recommend) and the x-3 cam do you think thats fine with a daily driver? I mean i dont mind noise or agressive lope . And i heard you have to change springs every 20k or so with this cam? Is this even if you upgrade the springs to 921s? Sorry if this is a dumb question im new the LS motors and just want a better understanding..

The g5x3 on a 114 should be perfect for you as that same combo got GODSPEED of LGM 427rwhp that you refence and he seems to love it and claims it very drivable on the street. Ask LGM about the changing of the springs but about every 20K sounds like a good preventive maintenance for a very aggressive high lift ls1 cam, even with 921s. I think your choice of springs is right on with the new dual springs 921 suppossedly good up to .650 lift!

GO FOR IT LIFE IS SHORT!!!!

if you go with the X3 you will have to change your lifters I believe. The spring pressure of the springs they use will collapse the stock lifters. I would check with LG though to make sure.

No lifter change is needed with the 921 comp springs.

slide it in and go
