Default compression height problem.

I've been told that a 1.4 is about the highest compression height pistons are usually made for. My setup is a 3.185 stroke, a stock ls2 deck height(9.235), and 6.200 rods. I think that'll give me a 1.44 compression height. Can I miss the engine block enough to bring that down? Is there anyway I can work with what I have?

You have a quickly developing train wreck. I would just stay with normal stuff thats cheaper anyway and much better for your application. Unless this stuff is actually free you may seriously regret it and even if it's free you may spend more money in the end from what I am seeing.

Been there and done that with used NASCAR stuff and some of it is not worth a penny. Seen two guys on this site do pretty big builds with some of these rods and then fail and smoke everything. If you get these oddball rods have Carrillo themselves check them out.

... but again get ready to possibly spend more than buying all new normal parts by the time it's over.
