Default Best Cam only
ive got a 02 a4 ss. ill be running a 390 gear with ss3600 stall on a 27.5 inch tire. im looking to get around 360rwhp on stock blackwing and stock exhaust with just a flomaster on my CME. TR 224 224 112 lsa? car is mainly a weekend toy. any thoughts on the TR Trak cam?

Years ago I made 400 to the wheels with a 4k stall and PRC LS6 ported heads and the TRak cam. Very choppy cam, you better have a good tuner. All in all it's a good cam.

the tr224 cam is a good mild cam,get a mail order tune for it from Frost.consider a custom cam from Patrick-G.

yeah ive heard youtube clips of both cams the TRak sound super choppy. just wonder which one out of the 2 would be best for what im trying to do. as far as the tune. Frost will be doing it. hes only 20mins down the road. his shop will most likely be doing my installs as well. stall, gears and cam.

I run a cam very close to the trak(torquer3) and the stall and gear you are talking about seem to be just right for that cam. GL

you need to list what you want from it. Idle quality, do you mind bucking/surging, decrease in gas mileage, ect..

but with stock manifolds i think anything over 230 of duration would start being a waste.

Call Geoff@EPS and tell him what you are wanting to accomplish with the stock exhaust and he can get you a cam custom ground to work with what you have.

To op, have you considered any other Cams?
TSP and Vengeance racing have awesome cams aswell. EPS is looking like something I'll be looking into also.
